Commercial Roof and Envelope Leak Water Cleanup
When a reported roof or exterior-wall leak affects the interior, TRC can assess structural damage and discuss extraction and drying. Exterior diagnosis and source repair require a separate scope.
Document the interior location and the reported exterior issue.
Describe the interior rooms where water is visible and whether the observation coincided with rain. Share any findings from a roofing or envelope provider. An interior stain alone does not establish the exterior entry point.
TRC's scope covers restoration of resulting interior water damage. It does not offer roof access, roof securing, tarping, exterior investigation, or a permanent exterior repair. If those services are needed, discuss the separate scope with an appropriate provider.

Locate interior damage
We assess and document structural damage. Identify affected rooms and areas that are not accessible for the initial discussion.
Discuss extraction and drying
Interior materials and access determine the restoration scope. Continuing water entry needs to be raised before that work is agreed.
Define any interior rebuild
TRC can discuss rebuilding affected interior areas. An interior restoration scope does not establish that the exterior source has been repaired.
Share interior observations from an accessible location.
Do not climb onto the roof or move beneath a sagging ceiling to investigate.
Identify the room
Describe where the ceiling, wall, or floor shows water damage.
Record the conditions observed
Tell us whether water was noticed during rain, afterward, or under other conditions without assuming a cause.
Name the exterior service contact
Share any existing roofing or envelope assessment and the provider responsible for that work.
What does interior roof-leak cleanup cover?
We assess and document structural damage. TRC does not offer roof or envelope diagnosis. A qualified roofing or envelope professional should evaluate the exterior entry point.
TRC's service concerns interior water damage. It does not include roof repair, exterior securing, or tarping; discuss those needs separately with an appropriate provider.
Tell TRC that water entry is continuing and share the status of any exterior assessment. The interior restoration scope must be discussed with that condition in view; no drying or repair completion time is promised.
