Who we are
Total Restoration Contracting, Ltd. (“TRC,” “we,” “us”) operates totalrestorationcontracting.com. Our address is 342 W Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. This policy explains the information handled through this website, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Service and callback requests. Our forms collect your name and phone number. They may also collect your email address, property address or town, property type, requested service, damage type, and the message or project details you choose to provide. We also attach the page where the request was submitted and the submission time.
- Direct communications. If you call or email us, we receive the contact and project information you provide and ordinary records of that communication.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, passwords, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through a website form.
Information handled automatically
- Website usage and performance. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure aggregate site usage and technical performance. Depending on the request, this may include the page or route, referrer, approximate region or country, device, browser, operating system, network information, and web-performance measurements. Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use cookies. Vercel describes data points from Web Analytics and Speed Insights as anonymous and not associated with an individual or IP address.
- Infrastructure logs. Our website, application, and data-hosting providers may process standard technical records such as an IP address, request date and time, requested page or endpoint, and browser or device information for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.
- Form security. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. When the verification loads, Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser and device characteristics, and interaction data and returns a short-lived verification token to our intake service. Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy practices.
- Embedded maps. The Contact page embeds Google Maps. Google may receive technical and usage information when the map loads and handles that information under its own privacy practices.
Cookieless PostHog analytics
When PostHog is configured, we use it in an always-cookieless mode for website analytics and browser-error tracking. PostHog may process page views and navigation, referring and campaign information, selected site interactions, device and browser characteristics, performance information, and browser errors. It does not store analytics cookies or analytics identifiers in local storage or session storage. PostHog uses the project, a daily salt, IP address, user agent, and hostname on its servers to create a daily-changing, privacy-preserving hash for aggregate audience measurement. The salt changes daily and is deleted after that day’s events are processed. We use this information to understand which pages and services are useful, measure calls and service-request activity, find technical problems, and improve the site.
Our custom analytics events report only interaction categories—such as whether a form included an email or message—not the name, phone number, email address, street address, or message entered in the form. We do not call PostHog’s identify function, associate analytics with a named or known individual, build person profiles, or record and reconstruct browsing sessions.
How we use information
- To respond to, evaluate, route, and follow up on a service or callback request.
- To communicate about an assessment, project, scheduling, or customer-service matter.
- To coordinate project information with an insurance carrier, adjuster, or other party at your direction.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the website and form pipeline.
- To maintain appropriate business records and comply with applicable legal obligations.
The website does not send information entered in our forms to advertising platforms, and we do not currently use targeted-advertising integrations.
When information is shared
We may share or make information available in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Vercel supports website hosting, analytics, and performance measurement; PostHog supports cookieless website analytics and browser-error tracking; Cloudflare provides Turnstile form-abuse verification; Railway supports the website’s intake endpoint; and Supabase stores service requests. These providers process information as needed to provide their services.
- Third-party features. Google operates the embedded map, and external links lead to services with their own privacy practices.
- Project coordination. We may share relevant information with an insurer, adjuster, employee, established trade partner, inspector, consultant, or other professional when you direct us to coordinate with them or when relevant to assessing, coordinating, or performing requested work.
- Legal, safety, and security needs. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect people or property, prevent fraud, or secure our systems.
Retention
We retain service requests, communications, and related business records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a project or customer relationship, maintain business and warranty records, resolve disputes, secure our systems, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention varies with the type of record and the reason it is kept.
We retain cookieless analytics, performance measurements, and browser-error information according to our configured provider settings for as long as reasonably needed to measure, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the site. PostHog’s daily salt rotation changes the audience-measurement hash; it does not by itself delete historical analytics events.
Security
We use administrative and technical measures intended to protect information handled by the site. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to send through a form.
Your choices
- You can use the public site without submitting a form and contact us by phone instead.
- You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted. We will review the request subject to reasonable identity verification and applicable law; some records may need to be retained for project, business, security, or legal reasons.
- When configured, PostHog runs in an always-cookieless mode. It does not set analytics cookies or store an analytics identifier in local storage or session storage, and it is not used to associate analytics with a named or known individual or build person profiles. You may still use browser privacy controls or content blocking to limit analytics requests; the core site and forms should remain available.
- Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. Your browser can also block third-party content or cookies; the core site and forms should remain available, although an embedded Google Map may not display.
Children
This site is intended for property owners, occupants, property managers, and businesses seeking restoration services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date at the top identifies the current posted version.
